Tense Days
Tense Days besteht aus Modulen, die im Sicherheitsbereich eingesetzt werden. Es handelt sich um aufgesplitterte Aluminiumrohre, die im normalen Einsatz horizontal auf einem Rohr oberhalb eines Zauns aneinandergereiht werden. Durch ihre Aufzahnung wirken die Module abschreckend. Hier vertikal im Raum platziert, zieht die tragende Rohrkonstruktion Aufmerksamkeit auf sich, da sie konfrontierend und seltsam in der Mitte des Raumes eingeklemmt zu sein scheint.
Tense Days consists of modules that are used for security purposes. Consisting of splintered aluminium tubes, normally the modules are positioned horizontally – lined up on a tube above a fence. Due to their serration, the modules act as a deterrent. Here positioned vertically, the supporting tube structure – normally passive – draws attention to itself as it is stuck, awkward and imposing in the center of the room.
