On the Ground
Wie durch eine überdimensionale Stanzform wird den Boden der Galerie frei gelegt, der komplett mit Gras überwachsen zu sein scheint. Die Form kippt je nach Blickwinkel beim Betrachten in die Form eines Grabsteins oder Wappens auf grünen Hintergrund. Das Gras, das durchaus lebendig ist, vertrocknet und verändert das Klima über die Laufzeit der Ausstellung.
As if through an oversized cutting form, the floor of the gallery is exposed, which seems to be completely overgrown with grass. Depending on the viewing angle, the form tilts into the shape of a gravestone or coat of arms on a green background. The grass, which begins alive, dries up physically thus changing the climate in the room over the duration of the exhibition.
