Church of Cold Dreams
Ein kleiner Kunstraum wird zu einer emotionalen Begegnungsstätte, die idealerweise allein oder zu zweit betreten wird. Die Betrachter*in wird eingeladen auf einer in der Mitte geknickten Bank Platz zu nehmen und auf eine erstarrte Flamme zu schauen. Fragmente profaner Love-Pop-Songs flimmern entlang der Wand und sind lesbar, aber nicht hörbar.
A small art space becomes an emotional meeting place that is ideally entered alone or in pairs. Viewers are invited to sit on a bench that forces the sitters to slide into one another or, if alone, to sit uncomfortably in the middle. The only view on offer is that of a frozen flame. Fragments of profane popular love songs of the 80s and 90s flicker along the wall and can be read but not heard.
